Firstly, it doesnt look that terrible (read: weeb-y), which seems to be a tall order for most gadget companies (the fascination with carbon fiber and RGB I will never understand). Instead with these Rayban-esque glasses which may protrude slightly farther than normal you only look like a slightly unfashionable dad as opposed to this guy.
In practice, the Xreal Air 2 Pros act as windows to a digital world (read monitor-on-your-face) able to put out 1080p in 120hz. The level of detail is sharper than id expect out of something so tiny, and amazingly makes me think why the heck are those AR helmets able to achieve so little. Whether you're watching high-octane action movies, exploring virtual landscapes, or indulging in 'other' activities, the clarity is fantastic compared to what the 10kg AR chunguses (big VR headsets) have been able to achieve in the past 5 years.
